Chief Frank Dixon is the assistant city manager of Denton, Texas and former Chief of Police for Denton, Texas Police Department. He has over 25-years of law enforcement experience and 4-years of military experience in the United States Marne Corps. Chief Dixon has proven ability in implementing intelligence-led policing using evidence-based strategies within a community policing organization. His core beliefs are transparency, mutual respect, and continuous dialogue through innovation and leadership. Chief Dixon graduated with honors from Lamar University with a BAAS in Criminal Justice. He also has his master’s in criminal justice from Lamar University.
