Adriana Volpe is an expert in criminal justice and policing. She serves as a research specialist in CNA’s Center for Justice Research and Innovation. Her recent research topics include training and technical assistance initiatives and violent crime reduction tactics. Prior to joining CNA, Volpe was an intern for the Pennsylvania Prison Society in Philadelphia. She supported the wellbeing of individuals who were incarcerated and monitored the conditions of all state and local correctional facilities in Pennsylvania. She also recorded the correctional facilities COVID-19 protocols at the start of the pandemic. Ms. Volpe has a B.S. in criminal justice with a double minor in Justice and Ethics in Law and American Studies from Saint Joseph’s University and a M.S. in Criminal Justice from George Mason University.
