Sabrina Acloque is an attorney, anti-bias consultant and writer. Her experience as an attorney includes nearly a decade of investigating complaints of discrimination within the state of Massachusetts, serving as a mediator and having formerly worked as prosecutor in Fairfax County, Virginia. Sabrina has been facilitating anti-bias trainings since 2018 and joined the CNA facilitator cadre in 2023. She has trained hundreds of individuals, including teachers, students and members of law enforcement. Sabrina’s work with law enforcement includes training them on matters such as understanding bias, investigating hate crimes, and implementing inclusive policing strategies.
Sabrina graduated from Cornell University with a BA in Government and a concentration in International Relations. While in college, Sabrina studied for six months at L’Institut d’Études Politiques de Paris in France. Sabrina later obtained her JD from Boston College Law School. While in law school, Sabrina completed legal internships in Ghana, the Netherlands and in Washington, D.C. In the Netherlands, Sabrina worked at the International Criminal Tribunal for the Former Yugoslavia, where she assisted prosecutors in their cases against individuals who were accused of committing genocide and other violations of the laws of war in the former Yugoslavia.
Sabrina enjoys facilitating anti-bias trainings because it is an opportunity for people with different life experiences to learn about each other and engage in dialogue to solve many of the complex issues affecting our society. Sabrina also enjoys writing poetry in her free time. Her poem, Innocence Lost, was published by Moonstone Press in 2022.
